Hello to gerli,jaroslaw,kristina and our facilitator maria
It was enjoable to work with you. I think our group members are hardworking and enjoable people. Our group is the first created group and we have made 2 formal and 3 informal flashmeetings. Maria joined us 2 weeks later i think. She was good at teaching. She is a succesfull teacher. Gerli is good at decision making of sociology. Jaroslaw is good at technical points.The creation of our group blog is made by him. Kristina is also an efective member, she has prepared an introduction part for this survey. And i am responsible for putting them to freeonlinesurveys. You can see that our group has a good team work. All members participated and we have made good discussions. I think our survey is good, our questions are well defined questions.

This project has been really fun to participate in and at the same time a lot of work has been done. For me personally the biggest advantage was the fact that I have learned to use new communication channels in the Internet like the documents in docs.google.com, blogs and flash meetings. All three were totally unknown to me before this project. Of course the experience of working with Jaroslaw, Kristina and Ugur is also of great value. I enjoyed both the formal meetings we had as the whole group participated but also the conversations we had with each other in Skype on more informal fashion. I got to know three persons who are just wonderful: they are friendly and funny.
Many thanks to our facilitator Maria, she has been of great help in the process of questionnaire construction. She organized twice a Flash meeting for the group and gave us useful guidance. But she also commented regularly our work in documents in docs.google.com and she pushed us when we seemed to be lagging behind a bit with our work.
The only less positive comments what I can think of in connection with the project are the “obligations” that needed to be done: all the reporting, commenting and evaluating part of the project. Sometimes it seemed to be too much of it and it started to hinder the main work with questionnaire.
Now some comments on my group members:
I liked very much the enthusiasm of Jaroslaw, he was the one who started the process of forming our group and who time and again sent posts on our blog about what we should do next and when we should meet. We have been constantly in touch via Skype and some nights we did chat and work on our questionnaire and the project in general until really late hours. In this behalf Ugur and Kristina were a little less active and sometimes we got really worried what has happened to them as we had not heard a word from them for a while. But this doesn’t mean that they have not done the tasks what were given to them. Kristina has been actively part in writing reports on our meetings, in composing the draft version of our questionnaire and she left regularly her notes and comments in our working documents in docs.google.com. Ugur did just wonderful job with the web-based version of our questionnaire and for that we all are very grateful. His contribution to the elaboration of our questionnaire was not maybe equal to others but this is understandable as his subject area is not related to sociology at all and the theme and research questions we raised for this project were not that common to him.
I really hope we will be friends also in the future after the project has been successfully ended. Don’t be strangers!
I have to admit that adventure which I experienced during Icamp1 project was one of the best in my Internet socialising with people.
Participating in this project improved my computer and sociological skills but that is not the most important thing. I think that I met 3 very nice friends during this project, despite of differences connected with our nationality we created wonderful group in formal and emotional meaning.
Our work was also very well-organised.Our group blog was hitted more than 1000 times it is a proof that this project was very important for all of us.
Our attachment to eachother was very polite and friendly we had not only discussion about Icamp1 matters but many times we were talking about patterns of human and our personal life. Social chatting was the way to socialise and make this project not only formal activity but also nice adventure. We had sometimes technical problems during Internet interactions but we coped with it next time.
ABOUT MY GREAT FRIENDS:
GERLI: I want to start characterising this person. It is very kind and wonderful girl. My Icamp1 activity was based on interactions with Gerli. Many times we were sitting at 2 or 3 o’clock at night and sharing our thougts as she said. She is magnificent example of young sociologist. I think that we will stay friends after our Icamp1 Project. She is great person and wonderful human . She taught me many things associated with making questionnaires. Thank You Gerli for everything.
KRISTINA : She was the first person who I invite to Icamp1 cooperation. She is very sweet person. She made a wonderful job with our questionnaire. I didn’t have so many interactions with Kristina but all which I had was really great. She is very busy person at Uniersity and home but she coped with everything and also have big influence on our work. I hope that we will stay friend also.
UGUR: Sorry Ugur that You are in the end but at first I had to characterise Ladies. Social chatting with Ugur was interesting experienced especially about religion and differences in our cultures. We had a lot of in common also. Football was the element which make our discussion so interesting.He is also great computer scientist he proved it making online questionaire. I am certain that we will be friends in future.
Dr Maria Nawojczyk was a person who made our work well organised. She advised us in every aspect of this project and also prepared two FLASHMEETINGS which gave us possibilty to discuss about our questionnaires. Her advices motivated us to hard work and now We can be proud of project which we done together.
I have to agree what to work on this iCamp project was enjoyable. I believe we all have some fun and adventure. I believe that these young people who are very active, with many ideas and plans will reach a lot in future. I am proud of them. And I hope we will stay friends after this project too.
