Hello Gerli and everybody.

I was sick whole weekend now it isn’t better, but I will form new version of questionnaire untill 14.00 CET Monday, which I send to You by e mail and everyone can add notes.

P.S I agreed Gerli we should work together but some of us is not present already so we should do what we can personally .

Work on questionnaire

But I think there is no need for working in a way as Jaorslaw has proposed here (so that everybody should work on their own questions only as they are presented in our document now). I think it is time to think on the questionnaire as a whole and organize the already proposed questions into the draft for final questionnaire. I wrote down some guidelines for this task in our working document and started the selection for questions in our questionnaire document.

Please visit the docs and make your contributions. And hurry :), as the deadline for formation of final version of questionnaire is today (03.12.2006) according to our schedule

I think that all of us should correct own questionnaire nowin accordance with notes of dr Maria Nawojczyk and leave new version of surveys on docs.google.com.

After this we will choose the best questions, correct and update them and finish work with our questionnaire.

Skype -chat meeting

Hello everyone,

I think that all of us have already analysed our questionnaires.

The next step will be our skype meeting. I have short and clear proposition of our meeting and tasks which we should consider:

1. analyse one more time deeply our questionnaires

2. make our own notes connected with questionnaires which will be presented during chat meeting/on docs.google.com or in other way

3. next we will have discussion – we may analyse all questions, correct them and delete questions which doesn’t fit to our questionnaire – it will be democratic way of making decisions but supported by our knowledge of creating questionnaires

4. finally we will create our version of questionnaire and deliver it to dr Maria Nawojczyk

The topic and research question decided

The topic of our questionnaire will be “social dangers with e-learning”.

The overall research question will be: Do people turn into antisocial creatures because of spending most of their time on-line or is the Internet just a new way to be social?

There are good arguments for the fact that it could have bad influence on peoples’ sociability if they most of their time spend behind computers but equally good arguments are for the opposite, that the internet only will create new ways for being social. There also can be found a lot of examples proving the two sides. Both points of views are acceptable and suitable for hypothesis for our research.

So for Saturday, 18th November, everybody has to think about possible questions for our questionnaire which will cover both aspects of our research question. Please leave your propositions on questions in our joint document in docs.google.com and remember to mark them properly, so that it could be seen who the author is.

Date and time for group meeting II

Some changes in plans: instead of flashmeeting we have our usual meeting on Skype tomorrow, i.e. Thursday 16ht November at 20.00 o’clock.

The reason behind these changes are the notes Maria left us on our document in docs.google.com. She proposes to have the flashmeeting on Monday, 20th November. We discussed it with Jaroslaw and we thought it is ok, but we still need to meet also before that. So the Thursday’s meeting is still on, but we meet on Skype.

Is that OK for Kristina and Ugur??? Please leave your comments.
